Teenager, juvenile steal bike, snatch phone and murder morning walker in Chennai

Kannan Police

CHENNAI: A teenager and his juvenile accomplice committed triple crimes on Monday -- they stole a bike, snatched a mobile phone from a food delivery agent and then knocked down and killed a morning walker and took his mobile phone.

Shocked at how a Medavakkam walker was knocked down and robbed, passersby chased and nabbed both the offenders -- Purushoth, 18 of Kamarajapuram in Medavakkam and a minor from Hasthinapuram. They were thrashed and handed over to police.
