A teenager is fighting for his life after he was knocked down in a horror early morning crash on a Scots road.
Emergency services scrambled to the A90 southbound, just past the A944 junction, after the incident happened at around 1.55am on Sunday, May 29.
Ambulances crews attended and the 18-year-old boy, who was a pedestrian on the road, was rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with life-threatening injuries.
Police have closed the A90 southbound between Kingswells North and Kingswells South.
Officers say their enquiries into the crash remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers received a report of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on the A90 southbound just past the A944 junction around 1.55am on Sunday, May 29, 2022.
"The 18-year-old male pedestrian has been taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with life-threatening injuries.
"The A90 southbound is closed between Kingswells North and Kingswells South. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the collision."
