A 17-year-old girl has died after suffering a “medical episode” at a festival in the Lake District headlined by Wolf Alice and Scissor Sisters.

The teenager died just after 2am on Sunday at the Kendal Calling festival site at Lowther Deer Park, Cumbria Constabulary said.
