A teenager accused of murdering a young woman appeared in court in Liverpool.
Liam Cain, 19, of Skipton Road, Anfield, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday.
Courtney Boorne was found critically injured on the afternoon of Friday, December 23, after Merseyside Police received reports of a disturbance at a block of flats on Quarry Green Heights in Kirkby. The 20-year-old later died in hospital.

Bail was not granted and Cain was remanded further into custody.
Ms Boorne's family said they were in "total disbelief" and "still trying to come to terms with what’s happened" following her tragic death. More than £3,000 has now been donated to her loved ones via an online crowdfunding page.
