Widened search, gangland probes after boy shot in face

Nearly a full day after a young boy received a bullet to the face, police are expanding the search for witnesses in a bid to discover who fired the shot.

Authorities are investigating after paramedics rushed the boy, 11, to hospital just after 5pm on Monday from a home in Sydney's Hills District.
