Teenager among 308 people arrested on suspicion of drink or drug driving over Christmas

PSNI

Police arrested 308 people on suspicion of drink or drug driving over Christmas, nine more than during the same period last year.

The youngest person arrested during the PSNI's winter anti-drink and drug driving operation was 16 years old, while the oldest was aged 83.

Police said the highest detection was 157μg/100ml, which is over four times the legal limit of 35μg/100ml.
