A teenage girl was sexually assaulted at a busy train station.
British Transport Police confirmed that a teenage girl was the victim of a sexual assault in Preston train station over the Bank Holiday weekend. Two people were arrested following the report, with a man being arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and a woman being arrested for a public order offence.
A British Transport Police spokesperson told Lancs Live : "A male was arrested at Preston on suspicion of sexual assault on a teenage girl. A woman who was with the suspect was also arrested for a public order offence.

"Both suspects were detained by Travel Safe Officers until police arrival. Enquiries ongoing."
