Road policing officers in Lanarkshire are appealing for information after a teenage died following a crash on the M73.
Around 1.30pm today, police were called to reports of a two car crash northbound near the Gartcosh junction.
The driver of one of the vehicles, a 62-year-old man, and the rear passenger of the same vehicle, a 16-year-old girl, were taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where she later died.
