A TEENAGE boy was stabbed after reportedly being chased by a group of men on a busy Glasgow street.
The 17-year-old was attacked on Kerr Street at around 10.25pm on Saturday, August 29, and was taken to hospital for treatment.
According to reports, the teenager was chased by a group of five men before fleeing into a car park where he was attacked.
A source told Glasgow Live that two men were also seen being chased down London Road.
Police are treating the incident as a serious assault and have launched an appeal for witnesses.
Detective Sergeant John Whitelaw said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this incident.
“Despite the time of night, the area was busy with people who may have witnessed what happened.
“We are appealing to anyone who saw anything which may be able to assist our investigation to contact us.
“In addition, anyone who has footage on their mobile phone which may have captured the incident is asked to get in touch.”
