Teenage boy missing from Airdrie home for four days as police launch urgent search

UPDATE: Corey has been traced safe and well.

A search has been launched for a teenage boy who has been missing from his home for four days.

Corey Weallans has been reported missing from the Airdrie area of Lanarkshire. The 14-year-old was last seen around 5.30pm on Thursday, November 24.

He is described as 5ft 5in with fair short hair, blue eyes, stocky build. He was wearing a blue Nike zipper, black Nike tracksuit bottoms, and black Nike trainers with a yellow tick.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Anyone who may have seen Corey since this time, or who has any information which may assist us with enquiries, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident 0458 of 25th November 2022."
