Teen TikTok star's stalker shot dead by dad after he opened fire at her home

A teen TikTok star's stalker was shot dead by her dad after he turned up at her home with a gun and fired at the front door.

Obsessed fan Eric Rohan Justin, 18, was found to have thousands of photos of internet influencer Ava Majury on his phone, after he was killed outside her home in Naples, Florida.

The terrifying ordeal saw a man blast the front door open with his handgun as he went looking for Ava, reported the Daily Star.

He was chased away by her dad Rob Majury, 51, a retired policeman, but when he later returned and refused to drop his gun, he was shot dead.

It came after a lengthy spell of harassment that saw her receive unwanted attention from Rohan Justin only weeks after signing up to the internet video platform in 2020.

Ava has built up a following of over 1 million on social media (@ava.majury/Instagram)

Ava gained popularity quickly on TikTok and has over one million followers between her three accounts, where she posts singing and dancing videos alongside those of her pulling practical jokes on her family.

She told the New York Times that the darker side of her fame came when Rohan Justin tracked her down after buying personal details off her friends, including her telephone number.

He also had paid Ava $300 for two facial selfies on Venmo when he had initially showed interest but she and the rest of her family had tried to stop him from making any contact with her when he became more persistent.

Then on July 10, 2021 the teenager arrived at the family home and began firing shots through the front door with a handgun, leading Ava and her two brothers to hide in their parent's bedroom.

She told New York Times: "All I remember was, I heard it, I felt it in my chest, and I looked up, and there was a hole in my door from the fragments."

The gun then jammed allowing Ava's dad to be able to chase him away and when he returned the retired police officer was standing at the door.

Mr Majury asked the assailant to drop his weapon — and shot him dead when he refused.

No charges were brought against the father as a result of Florida's 'stand your ground' law, which permits homeowners to use lethal force against intruders if there is a clear threat to life.

Police searching the stalker's two mobile phones after his death found that he had saved thousands of photographs of Ava alongside some of her TikTok videos.

Justin's father shared his shock at the incident, telling the newspaper: "He was a nice kid. I’m at a loss for words. I don’t know what went bad with him. He made a bad choice."

Despite the horrifying close-shave, the TikTok teen's parents have made the decision to let her stay on the platform for now, as her dad says the videos are "such a big part of her" that to take them away "would have been hard”.
