Teen's 'insulting' jail term over violent home invasion

A teenager will be released in weeks over a violent home invasion after receiving a sentence a victims advocate slammed as absolutely insulting.

Victims 1st spokesperson Lyndy Atkinson claimed Queensland's controversial "adult crime, adult time" laws are not being used after criticising the teen's sentence on Wednesday.
