A teenage boy remains in hospital this morning after being hit by a car late last night in Co Kerry.
Gardai are appealing for information following the serious incident, which saw a car collide with a pedestrian at around 1.10am on the Brewery Road.
According to investigating officers, the pedestrian, “a male in his teens, received serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment at Cork University Hospital.”

The road remains closed this morning as a technical examination of the scene takes place and gardai ask that any person who may have witnessed this collision contact them.

A statement released this morning stated: “Gardai are appealing for information following a serious road traffic collision in Tralee, Co Kerry this morning, Monday, 11th July 2022.
“The collision, involving a pedestrian and a car occurred at approximately 1.10 am on the Brewery Road.
“The pedestrian, a male in his teens, received serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment at Cork University Hospital.
“A technical examination of the scene is taking place this morning.
“Gardaí are appealing to any person who may have witnessed this collision to contact them. Any road users who were travelling in the area with camera (including dash cam) footage, is asked to make this available to Gardaí.”
