Teen Mom star Leah Messer has shared some touching pictures of her brave daughter Ali, as she updated fans on the 12-year-old's recent hospital visit.
The MTV star, 30, has been open about her daughter's struggle with muscular dystrophy and took her to the hospital for a check-up appointment on Wednesday to monitor her condition.
"Another great check-up appointment for my sweet Ali girl. I’m so proud of her & always grateful for everyone that has been on this journey with us," Leah wrote on Instagram alongside two pictures.
In the first snap, the mum and daughter duo both wore face masks, as Leah made a peace sign to the camera.
The second picture showed Ali posing next to Dr Tsao, who has been treating her for years.
Fans rushed to the comments to offer the family their well wishes and say how sweet it is that Ali has had the same doctor for so long.
"Her Dr that's been with her since the beginning awww," wrote one fan with a heart and crying face emoji.
Another added: "Ali your so pretty girl I was born with cerebral palsy! Your a star and an inspiration. Keep rock girl. Your a fighter as well!"
"I hope she’s doing well!! She’s so beautiful," penned a third fan. Someone else commented: "I'm rewatching the series, and it makes my heart so happy to see how much has changed since the beginning," adding a crying face emoji.
Ali was diagnosed with Titin Myotonic muscular dystrophy in 2014, a rare form of progressive weakness disease.
At her time of diagnosis, it had existed in less than 20 cases around the world.
Back in March, Leah shared an updated with fans and said Ali had been making great progress.
"An update from Alis MD appt yesterday," she wrote on Instagram.
"All great things- He sees more of an improvement than he ever has, mind & body. He said what he sees is remarkable because she seems a lot stronger."
She added: "He gave a lot of credit to her love, hard work and dedication to reaching horseback riding goals that she sets for herself."
Leah expressed the family's love for Dr. Tsao and said they "are so grateful for his practices and guidance over the years".
She finished by writing: "Keep working hard and staying dedicated Ali girl. We love you and are so proud of you! A special thanks to all of you who believe in and support my girl."
