Teen Mom Cheyenne Floyd claims she was 'shot at' while driving with children in the car

Teen Mom Cheyenne Floyd has told how she she was'' shot at' while driving her car with her young children inside.

The mum-of-two said that she was injured during the incident that took place in July.

Her children Ryder, 5, and Ace, 1 were also in the car with Cheyenne.

Cheyenne previously revealed that she had to go to hospital with a mystery illness, but it is now thought that it was the shooting which caused this.

According to Cheyenne's bio for the new spinoff Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, the truth has been revealed, it looks as though all will become clear in the next season of the show.

Her bio reads: "Cheyenne reveals she was shot at while driving her car with her children Ryder and Ace.

"She undergoes surgery for her injury and plans her dream wedding to Zach."

Cheyenne previously said on her Instagram story that she was rushed to hospital and that she was 'recovering from surgery'.

Wanting to know more, a fan asked: "Have you been sick? If so I'm praying everything is good now."

However, Cheyenne said she wasn't sick and was recovering from surgery.

Cheyenne replied: "I wasn't sick... I had to have surgery and I am recovering very well..."

She added: "It's hard to answer more questions because it will lead to more questions.

"We just have to wait for [Teen Mom] to air... that will explain everything."

Following her stay in hospital, Cheyenne shared a photo of multiple bunches of flowers as well as other gifts she'd been given following the incident.

She tagged those who sent her the presents as well as thanking them for their generosity.

The 29-year-old said: "Thank you to everyone who has reached out and sent their prayers. I'll be able to explain more later right now I am focused on healing."

One of the gifts Cheyenne received was from her co-star Briana DeJesus.

She was given some flowers and a 'Get well soon' balloon.

Cheyenne wrote alongside the post: "Coming home to flowers from Briana DeJesus after these past few days was so thoughtful," along with a red rose emoji.

The incident came as Cheyenne is in the middle of organising her wedding to partner Zach Davis.

She has since thanked Zach for his support over the last few weeks.

She said: "Zach Davis has seen me at my worst and vulnerable moments."

She then thanked Zack for 'loving me this past few weeks'.

Cheyenne and Zach are due to tied the knot on September 29, 2022.

The pair share son Ace, who was born in May 2021 together.

The couple have been seen together since her debut season of the TV programme.

Apart from the date of their nuptials, Cheyenne has not revealed any specific details of her big day.
