Teen killed in Liverpool café attack was three months away from being a dad

A teenager who was found fatally injured at an internet café was just months away from becoming a dad, his heartbroken family revealed in a tribute.

Michael Toohey, 18, died after being attacked in Liverpool city centre on Saturday, April 16. He was taken to the Royal Liverpool Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A murder investigation is now underway.

The family of Michael Toohey spoke of their devastation and asked for anyone with information relating to his death to come forward and 'prevent this from happening to anyone else's innocent child.' Their tribute was shared via Merseyside Police.
