A teen has been rushed to hospital with 'serious' injuries after being hit by a car on a Scots road.

Emergency services raced to New Edinburgh Road, in Uddingston, at around 7pm on Friday, February 11.

A 15-year-old girl was hit by a black Audi car and rushed to University Hospital Wishaw for treatment.
