A teenager has been hospitalised with non-life threatening injuries after a car struck a number of spectators during an event in Co Kildare.
The shocking incident unfolded on Saturday night during the modified cars event hosted in a carpark on Moorefield Road in Newbridge by the Irish Car Fleet.
The event saw car enthusiasts gather to admire numerous different modified vehicles.

In video footage of the incident, seen by The Star, two cars are seen moving off slowly from a parking area.
The second car is then seen swerving and appearing to strike a number of spectators standing nearby.
A number of spectators are then seen attacking the driver of the second vehicle while he was getting out of the driver’s side.
It is understood that one man was taken to Naas General Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
In a statement shared on its social media, the Irish Car Fleet said: "On behalf of Irish Car Fleet, sponsors and representatives, I want to formally apologise for the scenes which unfolded last night (Saturday 17th) in Newbridge Co Kildare.
"Irish Car Fleet have a long standing reputation with the car industry and we understand that what happened last night was unacceptable. The incident is now with Newbridge An Garda Siochana.
"We would ask for any media information or footage to be handed over swiftly to Newbridge Guards and likewise if you have any further information which would help the investigation."
Gardai have confirmed they are investigating the incident which happened at around 9.15pm.
They also confirmed criminal damage was caused to a number of vehicles.
"One man aged in his late teens was conveyed to Naas General Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries sustained in the course of this incident. No other injuries were reported.
"No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing."
