The black and white photo shows Fred wearing an oversized black leather jacket and jeans, he said: "It was the summer of love and I was on my way to a restaurant for a date with a girl I had madly fallen for.
"When I look back now I smile at the innocence, magic, and beauty of that first love. There was no plan, future or worry. It was totally new and exciting and simply existed in the presence."
Fred went on to explain how Teen First Dates works hard to ensure all the teenagers feel safe, comfortable and happy while on their dates and he feels honoured to be part of this.
He said: "Everyone in the #firstdates team felt very responsible and worked so hard to create the right environment and experience for our young daters.
"Our vision was simple and clear. To make it the most memorable and beautiful memory for all the daters. Personally I felt so privileged and honoured to share this very special moment with them."
Teasing the new series of the show, he said: "Can't wait for the new series. Stay tuned!"
First Dates has created many cute moments from the date that went on to climb Mount Kilimanjaro together to the Tom Hardy look alike and Teen First Dates is sure to bring the same heartwarming dates and stories.
