A young woman was sent to the hospital after she was allegedly attacked by a 17-year-old girl trained in MMA over an ex-boyfriend, according to a report.
Angela Zamora, 19, told ABC4 the MMA fighting teen drove from Nevada to Zamora's home in Utah and confronted her in her driveway
"She started attacking me and punching me, and that was to her advantage. She is trained to do bodily damage to people. She is a trained MMA fighter, and so honestly I couldn't defend myself. I was defenseless," Zamora told the news outlet.
Zamora was taken to the hospital while police arrested the teen MMA fighter. She has since been released.
The victim's parents told ABC4 they're infuriated that the teen crossed state lines and won't face any consequences since she's a minor. They added they're considering taking legal action for the damages caused, including "pain and suffering" and hospital bills.
"We are going to do everything in our power to get the justice she deserves no matter what it takes," her parents said.
A GoFundMe has been set up to help with Zamora's medical and legal costs.
