Teen dressed as Teletubby stabbed on walk home from out-of-control 18th birthday party

A teenager who was dressed as Teletubby is currently in hospital after he was stabbed while walking from a costume party.

Ezra Faasolo, who was named by local media, had left a teenager's 18th birthday party with a pal dressed as the Hulk in the early hours of Saturday.

Three males reportedly confronted 19-year-old Ezra and his friend. Ezra was punched in the head and stabbed twice in his lower back, it was reported.

Ezra's pal put him in the back of his car and drove to a nearby service station in Sydney, Australia.

CCTV grabs show the friends, still in the Hulk costume, speaking to the cashier and asking for the address before police and paramedics arrive.

The party they were at was for a teenager turning 18, but her parents were forced to shut it down after gatecrashers overcrowded the event.

Police said the group who confronted the teens fled the scene in a dark car and were last seen travelling north along East Kurrajong Road.

The males have been described as aged in their late teens to early 20s, and with heavy builds.
