A TEENAGER has been charged with attempted murder following an attack on at the TRNSMT music festival.
Previous reports said that Lee Paton, from Patna in Ayrshire, had suffered serious injuries after an incident at Glasgow Green on Saturday, July 13.
The 16-year-old was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment, where he was left fighting for his life.
Police had initially put out an appeal to track down two individuals as part of investigations, with initial enquiries relating to a serious assault.
Officers have now arrested and charged an 18-year-old with attempted murder. He is due to appear before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday.
A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
