A teenager has been charged after two men were attacked in St John's Garden.
Just after midnight on Thursday, June 15, patrolling police at Queen Square Bus Station were approached by a man who said he was involved in an altercation with another person at St John's Garden. The man, in his 30s had a serious eye injury.
At around 12.50am, it was further reported another man in his 30s had taken himself to hospital with serious facial injuries after he was also attacked. The two victims remain in hospital in a stable condition.

Now, Merseyside Police have charged a 17-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, on suspicion of two assaults.
The teenager, from St Helens, who was arrested on the same say, has now been charged with two counts of assault causing grievous bodily harm. He has been remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court tomorrow (Saturday, June 17).
A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: "There will be increased policing activity in this area of the city centre over the coming days following the incidents and officers in uniform and plain clothes will be on patrol to reassure everyone who wishes to visit the city that they can do so safely."
