A 14-year-old teen appeared in court after being caught by police towing a caravan on the M4 in October last year. Officers spotted him driving a vehicle towing the caravan between junction 16 and 17 on the motorway.
Somerset Live reported that the teen, who has since turned 15 and could not be named for legal reasons, was seen by police driving a Saab towing the caravan which had three other occupants.
Neither the teen who was from Country Clare in Ireland nor the occupants had a valid driving licence. Wiltshire Live reported that when the police stopped the vehicle, the boy gave them a false name, claiming to be eight years older than he was.
