Things looked better for the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday’s injury report thanks to the return of Tee Higgins.
After missing the first practice of the week before the playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens with what Bengals coaches called an illness, Higgins was back out there as a full go.
That left Thursday’s injury report looking like this:
- CB Cam Taylor-Britt (LP — Groin)
- OG Alex Cappa (DNP — Ankle)
Now the focus turns to Taylor-Britt, the rookie who starts on the boundary across from Eli Apple. While things haven’t sounded concerning, his being limited again during the final practice of the week on Friday would be a red flag. Max Scharping will start in place of Cappa.
As for the Ravens, star quarterback Lamar Jackson announced he won’t be able to go and primary backup Tyler Huntley was limited while dealing with a shoulder injury:
