Ted Lasso Season 4 release date, episodes, how to watch, more

Jason Sudeikis returns, as Ted Lasso Season 4 officially premieres in August 2026 on Apple TV+.

Ted Lasso Season 4 looks set to change the team dynamic in a big way. Ted returns to Richmond to coach a second-division women’s football team, AFC Richmond, a struggling English soccer club, and the season will follow the group as they take bigger risks than before.

That setup gives the show a fresh angle while still keeping the heart of the series intact. Having that said, here’s everything we know about the fourth Season of Ted Lasso so far.

Ted Lasso Season 4 release date & episode count

Apple has confirmed that Ted Lasso Season 4 will start streaming from August 5, 2026. The full official episode schedule has not been fully published yet, but current listings on IMDb say Season 4 will have 10 episodes.

That would put it closer to Season 1’s length than the 12-episode runs of Seasons 2 and 3.

Where to watch Ted Lasso Season 4

The only confirmed place to watch Ted Lasso Season 4 is Apple TV+. All previous seasons are already streaming there, so the new season will follow the same setup once it drops.

The returning cast confirmed so far includes Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Jeremy Swift, Brett Goldstein, and Brendan Hunt. There are some new faces as well, including Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely as Henry Lasso.

Season 3 ending brought Ted back to the US, and what to expect in Season 4

At the end of Season 3, Ted went back to the U.S. after he chose to return to Kansas to be closer to his son. Roy Kent took over head coaching duties, while Rebecca’s women’s team set up the next chapter. That ending now looks less like an end and more like a setup for the new direction in Season 4.

Season 4 is slated as a big summer 2026 release, and the final trailer plus exact episode rollout should arrive closer to launch. At the time of writing, the new Season is still more than three months away, so you can expect Apple to drop more details within that date. The current signs all point to a familiar feel with a new challenge, which is exactly the kind of shake-up Ted Lasso usually handles best.
