RIP Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer, the classic web browser, is shutting down for good.

Explorer was originally introduced in 1995 as the built-in browser for Windows 95.

From today, according to Microsoft’s online help section, the Internet Explorer 11 desktop application will end support for certain operating systems.

With Glastonbury soon approaching we’ve been finding out about how new and award-winning XR technology is being used at the festival.

Mitch Bayer-Goldman is the co-founder and COO of Volta XR which allows music to broadcast ‘metaverse-reaching’ immersive experiences. Next week his technology will be used by artists such as Jamie Jones, Archie Hamilton and Grove.
