Tech & Science Daily podcast: UK Space Agency reveal benefits of 747 rocket launch

The Virgin Orbit 747 plane is equipped with the company’s ‘LauncherOne’ rocket, which is due to propel nine satellites into orbit on Monday night.
Ian Annett, Deputy Chief Executive of the UKSA explained the benefits of launching a rocket using a 747 plane, and discussed the potential for further space launches from the UK.
The government has announced that single-use cutlery and plates will be banned in England.
Official figures suggest that 1.1 billion single-use plates and more than four billion pieces of plastic cutlery are used in England every year.
