Tech giant Arm has shed further light on its plans to open a new site in Bristol, saying the facility will create “a broad range” of engineering roles in the city.
The British microchip designer, whose processing technology is used in smartphones, said its new South West office, along with another new base in Norway, would serve as one of two new primary engineering sites across its global operations.
In a blog post on Wednesday (May 17) Arm’s executive vice president of central engineering Gary Campbell said: “The opening of the Bristol and Oslo offices signal Arm’s commitment to attracting the world’s very best engineers, with both locations brimming with engineering talent.
