Hear that noise? It’s the world’s tiniest violin playing for the world’s richest man as Elon Musk, has revealed that he is the loneliest boy of them all.
The $270billion tech entrepreneur, 50, painted a picture of himself sobbing in an empty palace, wiping away tears with a £100 bill as he revealed it’s actually pretty isolating being so rich.
“There are times when I’m lonely,’ he told Business Insider.
“I’m sure there are times when everyone is lonely. But it’s pretty basic.
“Say if I’m working on the starship rocket and I’m just staying in my little house by myself, especially if my dog is not with me, then I feel quite lonely because I’m just in a little house by myself with no dog.”
I think we can probably assume his idea of a “little house” probably differs vastly from ours.
Anyway, Elon – who recently split from musician Grimes – could be using this as reason for him to press self-eject from Planet Earth.
He recently said his biggest hope for humanity is to “create a self-sustaining city on Mars”.
Maybe he can find a few Martians to befriend while he’s at it.
