A new team is heading to Antarctica to protect a historic base from the effects of climate change.

The UK Antarctic Heritage Trust (UKAHT) has entered year two of a three-year project to conserve Britain’s first permanent scientific base, Base A at Port Lockroy on Goudier Island.
