A teacher has revealed how she hid in a cupboard in a desperate bid to survive after her partner stabbed her 29 times.

Martina Turner was the victim of a frenzied attack from Steven Wood, during which he taunted that he would “finish her off”.

The pair met online in 2019 and their relationship developed, with Martina inviting Wood to live with her when Covid restrictions were introduced.
