Teacher banned from classroom after searching for female pupils’ Instagram pictures

A Church of England school teacher confessed in a handwritten note that he looked for pictures of female pupils on Instagram to fantasise about them, a tribunal has found.

Jacob Woodland, the head of physics at a Lancaster secondary school, admitted he searched for photos of students over a number of years to “fantasise for my own pleasure”.
