Tayto Park has announced the return of its freakishly exciting Halloween treasure hunt.
The much-anticipated "Tricky Trail" is set to thrill and delight your little ones this Spooktober with scary stories, spell casting, magical performances, and fun! On arriving at the Ashbourne theme park and zoo, you will have to collect a Tricky Trail map to find all the lost items, leading to a Halloween trick-or-treat bag.
Step inside the Haunted Halls and take a seat at the 'Scare Chair' for a frightful family photo opportunity before the trail begins. Continue the Halloween adventure through the Wandering Walkthrough and Ghoulish Graveyard, before gathering around the Hatters Hut for storytelling and some tea party fun!

Once guests have located all the lost items along the way, they will finish up at the Tayto Park Tricky Trail Treat Tent and collect the ultimate trick or treat goody bag. Tricky Trail will run on the following dates:
- October 15 (entry to Tricky Trail from 12pm)
- October 16
- October 22
- October 23
- October 29
- October 30
- October 31
- November 1
- November 2
Also you can visit the theme park after dark for a Halloween night out. Tayto Park After Dark is set to return from 6:30pm – 10pm as part of a special night entry.
Guests can catch a ride on seven thrill seeking attractions including Europe’s longest wooden rollercoaster, the Cu Chulainn Coaster and the latest addition to the park, Dino Dash.
Those looking for an adrenaline fix can take to the night skies on the Endeavour, Power Surge, Air Race, Rotator, Flight School or Windstar attractions. Those who are feeling a bit peckish can enjoy the Tayto Argentinian Grill and Dino Bite serving food from 7pm.
