Taylor Swift's hands got as much attention as her gown on the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards red carpet. She arrived at Los Angeles' Peacock Theater on Sunday, September 27, in a Tamara Ralph fall 2026 couture dress. The details that drew the closest look were her rings: a wedding band and engagement ring on her left hand, joined by a new Etho Maria diamond ring, plus a Forever Diamonds New York cocktail ring on her right.

The dress gave the jewelry a clean backdrop. Coverage describes a fitted black bodice against a glittering silver skirt, and outlets differ on the finer construction, from a halter neckline to a mock neck with sheer panels. Metallic silver Le Silla sandals continued the shimmer. Stylist Joseph Cassell Falconer put the look together, according to WWD.
