Taylor Swift has sent out her wedding invites, with some of her famous friends reportedly being left off the guest list.
The singer, 36, and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, 36, announced their engagement in August last year, after two years of dating. The couple is reportedly set to tie the knot in New York City on July 3.
According to a Monday report from Page Six, Swift hasn’t invited two of her good friends, the model Keleigh Sperry and her actor husband, Miles Teller.
A source told TMZ that Sperry and the “Opalite” singer aren’t as close as they used to be, and it’s been a “sad time” for their friendship. Their mutual friends reportedly hoped they would reconcile before the wedding.
Another source claimed that the pair grew apart due to lifestyle differences, but it isn’t clear what those were.
The Independent has contacted representatives for Swift and Sperry for comment.
Sperry and Swift have been friends for more than a decade, with the model attending the Grammy-winner’s 1989 tour in 2015. Sperry also went to Swift’s Reputation tour in 2018 with Teller.
Both Sperry and Teller appeared in Swift’s 2021 music video for “I Bet You Think About Me,” a track from the Red album re-recording. In the video, Swift crashes an all-white wedding ceremony and reception, with Sperry and Teller portraying the bride and groom.
When Swift started dating Kelce in 2023, Sperry frequently accompanied her to his Chiefs games. The friends’ last public outing appears to be the 2024 Super Bowl, which the Chiefs won.
Teller told Parade in November 2025 that he wasn’t sure if he and his wife would be at Swift’s nuptials.
“Yeah, I don’t know. That is gonna be — I imagine — one impressive wedding,” he said. “[I’m] just very happy for them. I’ve known Trav for a while, too, and I think they’re having a blast. That’s the point.”
Although the guest list isn’t clear, Swift’s longtime friend Suki Waterhouse, who was an opener on the Eras tour, has confirmed she’ll be at the wedding.
“Nothing scarier than the actual planning part, right?” Waterhouse told Variety last month about organizing her own nuptials with fiancé Robert Pattinson. “I'm gonna go to Taylor’s wedding, and maybe I’ll get some inspiration. It will be amazing.”
Kelce and Swift have continued to keep their wedding plans under wraps. During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show in October, Swift had a cheeky response to the host asking her when her wedding would be. “Oh, you’ll know,” the “Shake It Off” singer responded.
Norton responded: “So you’re going big,” to which Swift replied: “I just meant that I was going to invite you to it.”
