The Kansas City Chiefs will have Taylor Swift in attendance for their Week 6 matchup against the Denver Broncos on Thursday night. News of Swift’s arrival in Western Missouri broke on Twitter when Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas posted a welcoming note to his official account on Thursday morning.
Welcome back to Kansas City today, Taylor Swift!
At a time when there are many serious things to discuss, having a little levity isn’t bad. She brings it. There’s no problem with getting swept away.

While Swift’s attendance is sure to excite fans around the country and draw a new audience to the Chiefs’ first divisional matchup of the 2023 season, it is unclear whether her close acquaintance, All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce, will play his usual role in Kansas City’s offense.
Kelce sustained an ankle injury on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, and while he is expected to play in the Week 6 tilt, his contributions may be limited.
Expect Swift’s presence at Arrowhead Stadium to be the subject of numerous headlines throughout the game and for her reactions to any big plays to dominate the television broadcast.
