Taylor Swift has pulled off one of the biggest surprises on her fans by revealing that 'The Tortured Poets Department' is a DOUBLE album with an additional 15 songs.
At the stroke of 2 am (2 hours after she launched 'The Tortured Poets Department'), Swift took to her handles and shared the exciting news, revealing, "It’s a 2 am surprise: The Tortured Poets Department is a secret DOUBLE album."
She continued, "I’d written so much tortured poetry in the past 2 years and wanted to share it all with you, so here’s the second instalment of TTPD: The Anthology. 15 extra songs. And now the story isn’t mine anymore… it’s all yours."
The final edition of the album boasts a total of 31 songs, spanning over two hours of playing time. The extensive tracklist includes:

Interestingly, one pointed out the significance of the number 2 in Swift's recent activities, including her recurrent use of the digit in various contexts. Many are now assuming that the singer was dropping clues since announcing the album during her Grammy-winning speech when she flashed the peace sign. Her recent library installation also featured a peace sign statuette and cryptic social media posts that indicated that Swift has been hinting at something big.
'The Tortured Poets Department' marks Swift's fifth studio album in less than five years. The singer managed to pull this off while simultaneously releasing four re-recorded Taylor's Version albums. She now has released a total of nine full-length recordings since the pandemic.
Her album sale and the hit Eras Tour put her on the list of self-made billionaires. She is also the first country music star to enter the billionaire's club.
