The album earned the most streams in Spotify history in one day with over 300 million streams when it was released. Meanhile, the 14-time Grammy winner’s single “Fortnight” (feat. Post Malone) set a new record for streams in a one-day span as well.

Now the project has hit yet another huge new milestone.
The Tortured Poets Department is the only album to hit the one billion stream threshold in a single week, and it needed just five days to get there.
On April 22, 2024, Taylor Swift's THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT became Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single week. The album has surpassed 1 Billion streams since release.
