Taylor Swift fans have been left "fuming" after reportedly being "kicked off" the Ticketmaster and AXS websites despite waiting in a queue.
Fans were delighted when the popular singer announced she would be bringing her critically acclaimed Eras tour to Liverpool, London, Edinburgh and Cardiff in 2024 after announcing a string of dates. Taylor then announced additional dates on July 5 due to the high demand seen through registration.
General sale will start on July 17, but presale begins today, Monday July 10, and is split over three days with each date having its own allotted time. If you preordered Taylor's latest album Midnights from her official store, you should have received a presale code by email between Thursday, July 6 and Friday, July 7.

However, despite being able to enter the waiting room 30 minutes before the sale, and waiting in the queues with thousands of others, many people have reported being "kicked off" the site as they were about to pay. Several people have taken to social media to complain about the issues via Ticketmaster this morning.
@GavNewlandsSNP said: "That was great @TicketmasterUK, got in to buy #TaylorSwift tickets for my daughter, a massive massive fan, and just as I got in, you kicked me out with an error. Now back in queue at 18,000 odd, with no chance of a ticket. Super. #presale #TaylorSwiftErasTour."
Alix Podevin added they too were "chucked out" as they were about to pay and @okayibelieveyou wrote: "@TicketmasterCS your system just kicked me out whilst trying to buy tickets for Taylor Swift presale and then put me back in a queue of 17,000. An absolute joke."
Chloe added: "I got through the Taylor Swift presale queue within six minutes and then got this message" as they shared a screengrab of their website which says there had been an "error"
Jo Breezer said: "@TicketmasterUK just got down to “1 person in front of you” in Taylor Swift presale- then got kicked out to number 35,000 - can somebody do something?! So disappointing."
The ECHO has contacted Ticketmaster for a comment.
Fans on the AXS website have also reported a failure when it came to paying for tickets. AXS has repsonded to some concerned fans as they said: "When completing your ticket purchase, stay within one browser window on one device only.
"Opening multiple windows or tabs to purchase tickets may result in errors. Do not refresh the page during this time."
