A Taylor Swift fan has been praised after dishing out a 'genius' tip to check your exact wait time in Ticketmaster's queue while trying to buy tickets. It comes as Swifties who registered for the popstar's presale 2024 UK Eras tour tickets on the site will be emailed today to find out if they have been successful.
Fans who get an email, which will be coming from the promoter AEG Presents, will be given information on the concert date they have signed up for. A unique access code will come in a separate email, the afternoon before the ticket sales begin - so fans are being told not to panic if they don't get this in the email today.
Millions are hoping they will be able to bag themselves a slot to one of her shows when sales start next week. However, due to high demand and Ticketmaster's system working on a first-come, first-served basis, it's very likely each gig will face lengthy waits, as reported by Bristol Live.
However, many US fans have been sharing their successes on social media, as the songstress has been touring across North America lately after tickets went on sale last year. One American fan who was able to secure herself tickets has taken to TikTok to explain how she found out what her exact wait time was while in a queue.
Sonia Gogan told viewers: "You're going to right click on your computer and click inspect and then it's going to pop up this side tab. Then you're gonna go to 'network' and then search the word 'status' and you have to click on 'preview', 'ticket', and it says my number and my expected wait time."
Sonia stressed that the right-click tool only works via a desktop computer, so won't be available to those buying tickets on their phones. Alyssa replied: "That’s incredible," and Meredith Perkins530 added: "So cool thank you!!! 9,464 haha." DeeeNyce said: "Doing this now."
But for some, it might be best to not know. Peyton Bowden shared: "Thank you. There are 15,080 people ahead of me." Mackenzie put: "I ain’t risking this." Lilacskies typed: "19k in front of me."
Pre-sale will begin on Monday, July 10 at 10am for London shows, followed by Edinburgh and Dublin at 10am on Tuesday and Liverpool and Cardiff on Wednesday, also at 10am. Here are the UK tour dates for Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour 2024 in full:

On the Ticketmaster website, a statement reads: "It’s also important to note that Ticket Sale Registration does not guarantee access to the sale, or to tickets. We expect there will be more demand than there are tickets available, meaning only a limited number of fans will gain access to the sale.
