Taylor Swift finally announced her Dublin return this week, sending Irish fans into a frenzy.
The Grammy-winning singer is bringing her The Eras Tour to Dublin's Aviva Stadium next June, with tickets going on sale on Ticketmaster in July. Due to major demand for tickets, fans have had to register their interest for tickets in advance on Ticketmaster, in order to be granted access to their queuing system.
Swift fans looking to get their accommodation sorted early for the concert dates are in for a bit of trouble, as the vast majority of hotels in the capital are now unavailable during those dates.
When the concerts were announced, 12 hotels in Dublin City Centre had availability on booking.com for two adults on June 29, 2024. This morning, just four hotels have the same availability on the website.

The Riu Plaza The Gresham Dublin were advertising standard queen rooms for €278 on booking.com on Tuesday, but now have only deluxe queen rooms left for June 29, 2024 for €440.
The Samuel Hotel's prices for a deluxe double room have remained the same since Tuesday at €377. The Gate Hotel did not appear in our search on booking.com on Tuesday but they currently have availability a double room for June 29, 2024 for €380.
Fitzsimons Hotel Temple Bar also did not appear in our search on Tuesday but now have availability for the Taylor Swift concert dates. They are charging €629 for a double room with two double beds for June 29, 2024.
However, fans have been reassured by the Irish Hotels' Federation that more availability should open up for the concert dates in the coming months, as the "vast majority of Irish hotels do not make rooms available online any earlier than one year out".
They told Newstalk: "This means that there is currently almost no hotel availability through online booking engines given that the dates for the concerts are over a year away.
"For many hotels, even shorter lead in times apply for listing rooms through online booking engines. This means that people looking to book at this stage should consider contacting hotels directly either through their own websites or by phone to enquire about rates and get the best value."
