Taylor Swift continues to dominate the vinyl market in the United States, showcasing her unparalleled success in album sales. With each new release, Swift consistently makes history as fans eagerly purchase her records. Even her older albums continue to perform well on this once-obsolete format, as evidenced by the latest rankings in America.
On the current Vinyl Albums chart, which tracks the top-selling titles on vinyl, Swift once again claims the top position. This week, Folklore ascends to No. 1, displacing her own album that previously held the spot.
Folklore, a Grammy-winning album, has now spent a total of five weeks at the peak of the Vinyl Albums chart. Despite its impressive performance, considering its 145-week presence on the chart, it has only occupied the top spot for a fraction of that time.
Meanwhile, last week's chart-topper, 1989 (Taylor’s Version), slips to No. 2 in the latest rankings. Since its release in late 2023, the album has enjoyed twelve weeks at No. 1 out of its 17 weeks on the chart.
Swift's dominance extends beyond just the top two spots on the Vinyl Albums chart. Lover drops from No. 3 to No. 5, while Midnights falls from No. 4 to No. 8 this week. Additionally, two more of Swift's albums, Evermore at No. 11 and Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) at No. 13, secure spots within the top 20 rankings.
