Taylor Swift has unexpectedly split from British pop-rocker boyfriend Matty Healy following their whirlwind romance, according to new reports.
It comes as singing sensation Taylor, 33, had gone public with the 1975 band frontman last month - but has now called time on their romance despite recent reports suggesting the couple were making big plans to move in together.
We previously reported only two weeks ago that the pair were looking to make bigger steps with their relationship with Matty, 34, set to move into her lavish New York pad as they had been "so loved up" and "wanting to spend as much time together as they can".
But now according to reports by US site TMZ the Shake it Off singer is "single" again although the reason for their split is still to be made clear it hasn't stopped fans from having their say on social media.
Reports in The Sun said many 'Swifties' claimed they "had won" after slamming Taylor for dating Matty following his derogatory comments about rap star Ice Spice.
One person wrote on Twitter: "The backlash was too much I’m guessing," whilst someone else added: "OH MY GOD YEEEESSSSSSSS," appearing to be in celebration of the split.
Taylor and Matty had been reported to have started dating after the Anti-Hero singer was pictured backstage with Matty's mum, Loose Women star Denise Welch.
Details of Taylor's split from her rumoured fiancé Joe were leaked on April 8 which also coincidentally fell on Matty's 34th birthday. They had also briefly had a romance in 2014 when Taylor was spotted wearing a 1975 T-shirt during one of their gigs.
Taylor Swift and her previous partner Joe Alwyn had reportedly been talking about marriage just months before they had split up in February after being together for six years.
Joe, who starred in BBC's The Conversations With Friends, had previously emphasised his need for privacy and had "struggled" with the level of Taylor's fame which has only grown in the past few years.
Outspoken feminist Taylor, who has sold more than 120 million records worldwide and has 257 million followers on Instagram, is renowned for penning songs about her growing number of break-ups over the years with star-studded celebs.
The Sun has contacted Taylor and Matty's reps for comment.
