Taylor Swift says she can't contain her excitement over expanding her upcoming mega-tour which will see her perform four more UK shows and see her team up with fellow American music favourites Paramour.
The Bad Blood, Karma and Look What You Made Me Do star shared news of her new tour dates on social media, which follows on quickly from her initial announcement of a European and UK leg to The Eras Tour which included 2024 dates in Edinburgh, Liverpool, Cardiff, London and - a later addition - Dublin. And now an extra date is added in all those cities save for Cardiff, making a total of 16 UK shows between next June and August.
While her fans in the North East miss out again on a local date, there will be plenty of time to plan to catch her at the nearest location - which will be Edinburgh, about 120 miles away - or bag tickets for a trip further afield as the dates are all next summer. In announcing the extra dates on Twitter, Swift referenced the lead singer, Hayley Williams, of Tennessee rock band Paramore.

She wrote: "Really can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour. And I get to travel the world doing shows with @paramore!! Hayley and I have been friends since we were teens in Nashville and now we get to frolic around the UK/Europe next summer??? I’m screaming???"
The Eras Tour, her sixth headline concert tour, kicked off in the US earlier this year and will take her to south America later this year before her Europe dates get under way in Paris next year and wrap up with her August dates in London. Here's the full list of UK dates, including the new additions. The other new dates are in Europe.
