A tribute concert in memory of Foo Fighters star Taylor Hawkins will be streamed live across the world from Wembley Stadium on September 3. Organisers say the star-studded event will be a "celebration of the life, music and love of one of modern music's most beloved figures".
Hawkins died in March at the age of 50 while on tour with the band. He played on nine Foo Fighters albums from 1999 until 2021’s Medicine at Midnight.
The Foo Fighters and Hawkins Family have teamed up with Paramount for the event. The media giant will host broadcasts of the concert across its various platforms, including CBS, MTV, Paramount+ and Pluto TV.
MTV will air a one-hour special across its global network starting in Latin America on Saturday, September 3. An extended two-hour cut will go out worldwide later in the month.
