Taylor Frankie Paul is back in the comments and when will the MomTok drama end!!
On July 14, a fan page for Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives spotted that Taylor, 32, and Whitney Leavitt, 33, had unfollowed each other on Instagram, and Taylor took that as her moment to speak up.
“Good. Since she is ‘leaving’ for the 100th time I’ll give my last words about her,” she wrote, referring to Whitney’s earlier announcement that she was leaving Mormon Wives.
Taylor then brought up Whitney’s old “hospital video” controversy, saying, “I stuck up for her since the hospital video I bet she doesn’t even recall that,” about the TikTok Whitney posted while her son was in the NICU with RSV.
She added, “I gave her grace against a whole cast MULTIPLE times. She is very successful and I always supported that. Just for her smile and pile on at my lowest.”
She ended the comment with a very final sign-off: “Let’s be honest she’s been waiting for my down fall since day one and she still ain’t gonna get it because she could have everything and still chose not to reach a hand 🙋🏻♀️ bye Whit cya mid season when you come back.”
For two people who helped build the same corner of the internet, that’s a big shift.
But, TBH the tension has been bubbling for weeks. On July 8, Whitney posted a TikTok that seemed to respond to Taylor quietly crowning herself the “Creator of Momtok + SLOMW” in her bio.
In the video, Whitney wrote, “How it feels being ‘creator’ of momtok & SLOMW,” and in the caption she added, “It’s not founding mother…it’s founding motherSSSSS 😉.”

Some of their cast mates including Mayci Neeley, Layla Taylor and Mikayla Matthews backed Whitney in the comments, gently reinforcing that MomTok was built by a group, not one person.
Taylor has also tried to show she’s owning her side of the drama. In a post shared on July 12, she wrote, “We’re at each other’s throats and I’m removing myself from responding to any of it moving forward”, and said she was acknowledging her “wrong doing’s in the MomTok mess”.
She explained that she’d “always supported all of them in their success” and “had their backs in times of need”, but admitted she “became defensive and let my ego take over when I heard …what I heard”.
Around her, more relationships are shifting. Miranda Hope has unfollowed Taylor too, later commenting that she “kept following until i decided it didn’t make sense to keep investing in something one sided”, and that she’s “not one to unfollow to prove a point”.
All of this is happening while season five of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is still in a strange place, with production paused and then unpaused this year and Taylor now expected to appear only in the opening credits, filmed separately from the rest of the cast.
Hopefully we find out what the helly is going on when the season airs!
