The Tay Bridge has been locked down this evening after a lorry overturned amid reports of high winds.
Emergency services raced to the A92, which links Dundee to Fife, at around 5.55pm after reports of the accident.
Diversions via Perth have been put in place, and motorists have been urged to avoid the area. It is expected that the bridge will be shut for several hours.
It comes as the Met Office issued several weather warnings for Scotland today. Much of the east coast is expected to be battered by gusts of 55-65mph this evening.
A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: "Police and emergency services are currently in attendance at a crash on the A92, Tay Bridge, that happened around 5.55 pm on Wednesday, November 2.
"The bridge is currently closed in both directions and drivers are advised to avoid the area."
