Tattu Leeds offers guests an unforgettable festive experience with a Chinese twist

Tattu Leeds is offering a special seasonal dining experience to their guests this festive season.

In keeping with the Chinese lunar calendar, visitors to Tattu, based in East Parade, will see the popular Leeds city centre restaurant transformed into a fresh icy haven. It has been specially designed to welcome this special time of year for reflection and joy with friends, family and loved ones.

In-keeping with the Chinese proverb ‘a fall of snow gives promise to a fruitful year’, the eye-catching venue has been snow-dusted. Offering a fully immersive dining experience Tattu Leeds’ new winter aesthetic is layered with sophisticated touches.

Expect a decadent icy hue dazzling across the restaurant’s sophisticated reflective interiors. Dazzling light murals and projections will reflect a breathtaking display of the Northern Lights across the spaces. Be transported to China’s northernmost point, Mohe, nicknamed China’s ‘Arctic town’ - the only spot in the country where people can witness the phenomenal Aurora Borealis.

Taking inspiration from this natural wonder, Tattu, renowned for show-stopping cocktails, has skilfully curated a limited-edition range of evanescent cocktails. The menu is designed to be shared with Tattu aiming to be the perfect destination for gatherings with loved ones.

Featuring dim sum, raw dishes, small plates, grills and seafood plus a host of vegan and vegetarian options, Tattu’s recently launched autumn winter menu offers something for every palette. Standouts include crispy shredded beef fillet, shangai black cod, seven spiced seared tuna and a Tattu classic, wok fired angry bird – a signature chicken dish served with roast chilli peppers and sesame honey soy.

Desserts have received an icy twist with their frozen cherry blossom offering reimagined to reflect the great snow. Topped with icy blue candyfloss, balanced on a delicate chocolate trunk, the dessert is grounded in a light chocolate mousse and is presented on a bed of dried ice which cascades over the table as you dine. Available exclusively during the winter period, the limited edition mount heng flambe is an indulgent baked Alaska with maraschino cherry, hazelnuts, coconut and meringue beautifully formed to resemble China’s famous Mount Heng.
