Taskmaster series 21 cast revealed as show commissioned for at least three more years

  • Channel 4 has commissioned an additional six series of the popular comedy game show Taskmaster, ensuring its run for another three years.
  • Comedians Greg Davies and Alex Horne will continue to host the Bafta award-winning programme, which also includes more spin-off specials like Taskmaster’s New Year Treat.
  • The 21st series starts on April 9 with Pakistani-American comedian and Marvel actor Kumail Nanjiani, The Thick Of It creator Armando Iannucci, Gavin And Stacey star Joanna Page, Masked Singer host Joel Dommett and comedian Amy Gledhill the contestants facing all of the Taskmaster’s unusual challenges.
  • Creator Alex Horne expressed both pleasure and stress regarding the extension, while Greg Davies humorously commented on the show's continuation.
  • Horne also teased that a future series of the show, which has been adapted internationally, could feature an Oscar winner among its contestants.
